Residential Systems

Solar energy can be used to provide electricity in either a stand-alone system or in conjunction with conventional utility power. Both urban and rural homes can benefit from producing their own power; no more black outs and sole reliance on a single provider are incentive enough for some to embrace renewable energy. However, there are a few important points that need to be highlighted before diving into renewable energy:

Independent solar systems will power items such as well pumps, TV's, VCR's satellite receivers, power tools, microwaves, computers, fridges, and much more.
Solar power is an excellent choice if there is no electrical connection to the grid. Especially in Rural areas where hooking up to the grid can cost $20,000 or more.
Independent systems won't power huge electrical appliances such as: electric stoves/ovens, electric heaters and electric clothes dryers
Currently, renewable energy is slightly more expensive per kilowatt than grid power.
Typical (a.k.a. affordable) solar systems will produce 30 to 200 kW/hrs per month. The average home will use anywhere from 750 to 1,500 kW/hrs per month.
Most of the power consumed in a household is from the use of major heat producing appliances: electric stoves, electric dryers, electric hot water heaters and dryers. Replacing these appliances with natural gas or propane appliances with allow you to get your power usage down to 500 kW/hrs per month or less.

All our solar packages are designed to provide minimal maintenance requirements while providing years and years of service while reducing your dependence on utility power. For example, our solar modules come with a 25 year output warranty, which makes these kits very attractive as they are an excellent long-term investment. All kits come complete and ready to install.
